Perched above the village with views of Olstinden and Reinefjorden, this 1910-built house was lovingly restored in 2016, keeping its soul while adding modern comfort. The perfect base for family gatherings, friends, and photo groups, retreats, yoga camps, or work trips with a bit more character. The Villa offers an authentic experience of the timeless lifestyle of a coastal keeper.
The Villa can accommodate up to twelve guests. On the upper floor, you’ll find six bedrooms - five with two beds in each, and one with a bunk bed. One of the bedrooms even has its own balcony with a sea view. There are two bathrooms, each with a shower and a toilet, and two additional separate toilets.
On the ground floor, there is a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and a big fridge space, a dining room, a living room with a TV for connecting your devices, and a fireplace to keep you comfortable year-round. The large terrace opens toward panoramic views over Hamnøy and the fjord.
The name "Væreiergården" refers to the historic manor of the owner of the fishing village. The Main House stood centrally, set on a slight hill to overlook the entire property - just as the heart of the place should.
